A completed and approved Drug Use Notification Form (DUNF) MUST be submitted for Junior Fair market beef (beef steers and market heifers), market hogs, market lambs, veal calves, market dairy steers, market goats, market poultry (meat pens of chickens, meat pens of ducks, and turkeys), lactating dairy cattle, lactating dairy goats, market rabbits, and feeder calves.
- A separate form must be completed for EACH animal (except meat pens).
- Any animal for which there is not a completed DUNF on file for will not be permitted to show or sell.
- All animals for which DUNFs are submitted must be "drug free" by the DUNF submission and must be completed by Saturday, July 19th prior to the animal weigh-in. That is, if an animal has a medication listed on the DUNF for which the withdrawal requirement has not been achieved by weigh-in, then that animal will not be permitted to show or sell, and quarantine arrnagments will be decided by the board.
