LIVESTOCK COMPLEX UPDATE:

We hope you all had a great week at the Shelby County Fair! The Shelby County Fair Livestock Complex Committee has made great strides this summer in securing funding for the new multi-livestock and youth development facility. This building will replace the current beef and dairy barns and construction will start this fall. The committee has raised $1,686,947.62 with the total cost of the new building and pens being $1,924,792.52.

Please consider donating towards the project; we kindly ask that pledges be submitted by August 15. We still need $237,844.90 to include all aspects of the original building plan. There will be a permanent donor wall in the building and the levels are $1,000, $10,000 and $50,000. Donations can be made over 1, 2 or 3 years. We want to thank those businesses and community members who have already contributed to the project! A list is included below.
