4-H Goes Virtual!
This document was written in May 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The public health crisis encouraged the Ohio 4-H team to address best practices for virtual special interest project evaluation. We have created content with three audiences in mind: 4-H professionals, 4-H members and their project helpers and 4-H judges. A supplemental document, which compares the features of various digital applications as they relate to virtual project evaluation, was also drafted. We are still waiting on administrative approval to share the full table. For now, we have included a table with information for the following applications: Adobe Spark, Microsoft Teams, Office365 OneNote, Qualtrics, Scarlet Canvas, VoiceThread and Zoom. The information included is intended to be purely informative in nature. Professionals are encouraged to use whichever application they determine works best for their families. OCIO’s Security Risk Assessment team and CFAES’s Digital Accessibility Team should be consulted when applications outside of those listed are being considered.
