The Shelby County Junior Leaders are sponsoring a project to send some love to our troops for Valentine's Day.
We will be collecting valentine’s cards (handmade or store bought) along with items to create care packages to send to those on active duty away from home during the holiday.
Items we are collecting include:
Candy-including chewing gum and mints- anything but chocolate
Fruit Snacks
Chips-snack sized
Beef Jerky
Cookies & Crackers- Snack Packs- Oreos, Cheese-its, Nutter Butter Bars, etc.
Deodorant
Shampoo & Conditioner
Socks- Men's and Women's Sizes
Toothpaste and toothbrushes
Lotion
Wet Wipes
