The Buckeye Lady Beetle Blitz tracks lady beetles across Ohio.
Unfortunately, many species have declined dramatically.
With your help, we we are monitoring remaining populations!
The BLBB survey ran 10 years ago. We are seeking volunteers across
the state to help study the lady beetle community this summer.
To participate you must have a home garden (either a flower or food
garden). Lady beetles will be collected using a yellow sticky card trap
in this garden over two weeks (one week in June and August).
Workshop participants will learn about the results of our initial
survey and be provided with the all the tools and training needed to
contribute to the 2025 survey.
