  • Testing Canner Gauges:  In response to liability concerns, OSU Extension no longer tests canner gauges.  Presto provides gauge testing for the public, free of charge, except for the cost of shipping.  Presto also carries parts for Steamliner, Maid of Honor, Model 620, and Kook Kwik, Models "Best Made" and "Merit".  Canners previously made that no longer have parts or service available include: National Victory, health, Burpee and Dixie brand products.  When ordering parts, give your canner model number and describe the parts needed.  When shipping a dial gauge for testing, include a short note indicating what service you are requesting, as well as your full name and address.  If you are unsure whether or not Presto will service your equipment, contact: National Presto Industries, or visit their website as follows:
