Shelby County 4-H Junior Leadership Club

What is Junior Leaders?                                            

The Junior Leader club allows teens to participate in leadership development, community service and social activities.

Who can be a Junior Leader?                        

A Junior Leader is ANY teen between the ages of 13 - 18

2007 - 2008 Jr. Leaders Schedule Of Events

April 21st – Sewing Community Service

    • 7:30 p.m. - Botkins High School Home Economics Room

      • COMPLETE "Ditty Bags" out of donated jeans for the Veteran's Hospital, local nursing homes & shelters.

April 28th - Smores Night

    • 7:30 p.m. -  Extension Office          

May 15 - Plant flowers, weed & mulch flowerbeds

    • 7:00 p.m. – Fairhaven Nursing Home 
      •  Help pull weeds, plant flowers and mulch flower beds at the Fairhaven Nursing home in preparation for their Memorial Day Services to be held that weekend. Bring some trowels, large scoop shovels, and gloves!

June 21 – Sort Recyclables/Fundraiser

    • 8:30 – Noon – Shelby County Recycling Center
      • We will be dividing this up into two shifts (8:30 – 10:30) and (10:30 to 12:00 noon). Sign-up and further details to come at a later date.
