The 2008 Shelby County 4-H camping season will be one of great change and new adventures as we camp at 4-H Camp Clifton. The new facility offers bigger, well maintained grounds and buildings in addition to a large selection of workshop activities.
Programs offered by Camp Clifton with trained staff:
-
Archery Nature
-
Air Rifle Creeking
-
High Ropes Seining
-
Low Ropes Fishing
-
Zip Line Hiking
-
Rock Climbing Canoeing
We will maintain other Shelby County 4-H Camp sessions such as: Crafts, line dancing, water polo, outdoor cooking and much more.
Other Shelby County 4-H Camp traditions such a campfire, inspiration, afternoon and evening recreation will be enhanced with the more user friendly facilities; with lighting, cleared trails, adequate seating and indoor fireplace for rained out campfires and inspiration programs.
Bigger bathrooms, nicer cabins, and a brand new swimming pool are additional amenities that campers will enjoy at the new camp.
